What did we learn?
This week we learned about Abraham and his family being called by God to move to a new land. We packed a backpack full of supplies that we would need to take on a trip just like Abraham and his family would have packed their things to move. We talked about a compass and how it can help you find your way when you are traveling outside.
However, we learned that Abraham didn’t have a new house ready to move into or a map on a phone to show him the exact way to go. God led Abraham to the new land that He showed Him, and Abraham and his family thanked God.

Follow the leader
Play some music and have your child follow you around the room, doing everything you do. You can walk to different parts of the room, lay down like you are sleeping for the night, or do some stretches. At the end, say thank you to God. Talk about how Abraham followed God and God led him to the new land.
